The average UK household owns 42 bags for life. As a society, our excessive and inefficient consumption has led to a vast amount of valuable resources going to landfill. By highlighting the versatility
of existent materials, we question the need for the new. A jacket for Forlife* re-imagines wasted materials as a new functional forms, extending their lifespan and celebrating them as valuable products.
